Martin Roche, GISP currently serves as the Director of GIS Services and Solutions for Avineon, Inc., an international IT services firm, and is based in St. Petersburg, Florida. His experience includes working for local, county, and state governments as well as a variety of commercial firms in roles ranging from Zoning Inspector to IT Director. Martin has served on the GIS Certification Institute Board of Directors as one of URISA's representatives since 2012. He holds a BA in Urban Affairs from Virginia Tech and a Master's in City and Regional Planning from Clemson University.
