Mr. Durwin Humphrey is a former Project/Operations Manager and current Manager of the Guyana Lands and Surveys Commission Secretariat in Georgetown, Guyana. He received a B Soc.Sc. in International Relations and a Post Graduate diploma in Development Studies from the University of Guyana, studied Project Leadership at Cornell University, and completed an MBA and is currently pursuing a MSc in International Development from the University of Birmingham.

Mr. Humphrey has extensive experience in professional training of youth and civil society organizations in Guyana and the Caribbean. Mr. Humphrey also has extensive experience in strategic policy areas, strategic management, entrepreneurship training, sustainability and institutional strengthening particularly in civil society organizations and Government Agencies in Guyana. He has designed, implemented and evaluated several development projects in Guyana which involved robust framework design, budgeting, monitoring as well as interim and post project evaluation.

Mr. Humphrey is currently involved in the design and roll out of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure in Guyana and has worked closely with the UN-GGIM Secretariat and member countries in streamlining the Integrated Geospatial Information Framework into the work ongoing in Guyana.
