Kyle Alexander is a Licenced Land Surveyor and Geographic Information System (GIS) specialist with over seven years of providing technical advice to clients in the private and public sector. Kyle received a Master of Science in Geoinformatics in November 2017 and a Bachelor of Science in Geomatics in May 2012 from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. He currently works at L&S Surveying Services Limited in San Fernando, where he manages cadastral and photogrammetric surveys as well as coordinates the company’s internal GIS Cadastral inventory. He also consults on GIS-related types of projects.

Kyle, a Trinidad and Tobago national, loves utilising spatial data to solve development challenges and provides better opportunities for others. His research on drought monitoring focused on ensuring that government representatives and first responders can make the best decision, in the unlikely event of a natural disaster. He is keen on working more in this area, particularly as it relates to the Caribbean. In his spare time, Kyle loves football. Although his playing days are behind him, he is an avid Chelsea supporter. Additionally, he loves local music so much that he sometimes jokes about being the next big soca artiste.
