Ms. Shanks works with geographic data in environmental and natural resource management applications as a GIS Specialist at First Environment. She supports technical projects involving environmental sampling and data collection, soil and groundwater investigation and remediation, wetland delineation and restoration, and climate change adaptation planning. Her responsibilities include database design, spatial data creation, modification, and maintenance, data analysis, and demonstrative and deliverable preparation.
