Aleem Mahabir

Aleem Mahabir is currently pursuing an MPhil in Geography at the University of the West Indies, Mona. In April 2019, he was selected for the Urban Geography Specialty Group of the American Association of Geographers graduate research fellowship award for the preliminary results of his Masters research. Previously, he has served as a research assistant for a number of projects organized under International Agencies, including the Hungry Cities Partnership Project and the World Bank. His research focuses on the link among psychosocial geographies, exclusion and development in Caribbean cities.
