The aim of this portfolio is to give an overview of the educational and technical background, skill level and qualifications of Ranford Stephen Campbell.

Ranford Campbell is a Certified Geographic Information System Professional (GISP), He is a graduate of the National Law University and Centre for Environmental Law, New Delhi, India, where he pursued Graduate Studies in the areas of Urban Environmental Management and Law.

He completed Advance studies in Remote Sensing with special emphasis on Digital Imagery Processing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing Dehradun, India.
Pursued graduate studies in the areas of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for Land Management at the University of Technology Jamaica.

Mr. Campbell currently serves in the capacity of GIS Projects Manager at the National Spatial Data Management Division in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation.
He previously served in the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Coordinator at the National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) and Survey Department (now the National Land Agency) for the past seven (12 years as a Senior GIS Analyst.

Ranford possesses sound knowledge and experience in Land Information Management Systems and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technologies, GIS Enterprise Systems management, implementation, and Softwares.
Ranford has undergone various advanced GIS training courses from the University of Technology, IIRS, (ESRI) Environmental Systems Research Institute, LICJ, and NovLIS Technologies Canada. Some of which are: Photogrammetry, Applied GIS, Theories, and Practices of Land Used Management, Advance GPS Satellite Surveying, Advanced Remote Sensing, Spatial Analysis, Visual Basic Programming Application, Applied Land Zoning, Land Use Management, Advance Cadastral Mapping, and Land Surveying.

His current responsibilities include; Coordinating various geospatial technology-related matters such as Technical advised and support of internal and external GIS users, GIS Application Development, data modelling, GIS Awareness Training within the agency, GPS data collection, GIS Analysis, Customized Mapping and the updating and maintenance of a National Land Agency’s National Fiscal Cadastral Index of Jamaica in ArcSDE database and ArcGIS Server.
